Ashland Creek Press is currently accepting submissions of book-length fiction and nonfiction on the themes of the environment, animal protection, ecology, and wildlife — above all, we’re looking for exceptional, well-written, engaging stories.
As you'll see from our new and forthcoming titles, we are open to many genres (young adult, mystery, literary fiction) as long as the stories are relevant to the themes listed above. Please note that at this time, we are not reading submissions for children's books or poetry.
For all submissions, please include (in a single document) a 1-2 page synopsis of the entire manuscript (including word count), the first 50 pages, and an author bio listing all publishing credits, awards, and experience. Include a valid email address, mailing address, and phone number.
If you'd like to be added to our mailing list — we send out monthly announcements about books, events, submissions, and discounts — please click here. You may unsubscribe at any time.
We ask that writers who submit book-length manuscripts support the press (and learn more about us!) through a discounted book purchase at the time they submit. All books are $20 — for U.S-based writers, this includes free shipping and your manuscript submission; for international writers, this includes your manuscript submission and an e-book that will be sent via e-mail.
Our current submissions period will run from January 1, 2019, to January 31, 2019. Please join our mailing list and/or check back for other submissions opportunities throughout the year.
Thank you for your interest in Ashland Creek Press!
